indieDwell Hires Construction and Manufacturing Executive Bill Cralley

indieDwell, a Boise-based manufacturer of high-performance modular housing named Bill Cralley as Vice President for Manufacturing Production. Cralley has 40 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, most recently as President of Alliance Steel in Oklahoma City. He previously served as President at two major flooring manufacturers, and as President of Alcoa’s Architectural Products Group.

“We’re tremendously excited to have Bill on board,” said indieDwell Co-Founder and Chief Impact Officer Scott Flynn, “his experience translates directly to indieDwell’s role as a steel frame homebuilder.”

In his new role Cralley will develop a production system that can scale across multiple factory locations, and oversee safety, procurement, materials handling, production technology and plant finance. In addition to the Caldwell, Idaho factory indieDwell will open its second location in Pueblo, Colorado in May of 2020. The company has several other factory sites identified for launch in late 2020 and 2021.

Cralley, a structural engineer by training, will work directly with company leadership across indieDwell’s business units. He will be based in Caldwell, Idaho and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Founded in 2016 by a group of eight employees, the company now employs 70 people across three locations.
